Santa Clara, located in the southern slopes of the Antigua Valley between 1550-1800 meters above sea level, is privileged to have some of the finest volcanic soils for the cultivation of speciality coffee.
So what can you expect from Guatemalan Santa Clara 100% Arabica coffee?
A big beautiful, creamy, juicy mouthful and a lovely deep ripe sweetness, flavour notes overflowing with fruit notes such as peaches, apple cider, plums and apricots with a lovely long sweet finish, with flavours of butter and well balanced chocolaty malt/spicy acidity.
This is such a fantastic espresso coffee, or Americana

Judges Comments:
1/ This is a coffee pod coffee that has those big Central American coffee flavours. It is strong, pleasantly bitter and has rounded fruity notes on the finish. It is genuinely full-bodied, a coffee for those who like their espresso big, bold, bitter and black. For those who like it sweet or white, it would also be good in cappuccino, strong enough to hold its head up in the frothy milk!
2/ A great, heavy crema. This coffee is a brilliant balance of the ballsy bitterness expected and required of a quality espresso teamed up with some rather more subtle fruity acidity. This has the potential to work very well with milk as it has the body to take it.
